Last Day For 10th Grade Re-Registration is Feb. 24

This Friday, Feb. 24 will be the last day for parents and guardians of 10th grade students in the South Orange-Maplewood School to re-register their students.  Parents were informed of the process on Oct. 28. 

At Wednesday night’s Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Brian Osborne said that around 80% of 10^th graders have re-registered.  He reminded the other 20% that they risk a board level hearing on residency

“We are pursuing a re-registration process this year to ensure that our resources are properly targeted to students who are domiciled in South Orange and Maplewood,” Osborne said at the meeting.

Re-registration of the 10^th grade is part of the district goals for this school year.
