Le Creuset Truckette to Appear at Celebrate South Orange

Ben Salmon, owner of Kitchen a la Mode, has arranged for a special delivery at this year's Celebrate South Orange on June 11.

Salmon said he was listening to a presentation given by Le Creuset at a conference for independent kitchen storeowners, “when he mentioned this truckette that they found in a junkyard in New Jersey." 

The Le Creuset Truckette, a 1967 Citroen delivery truck, is going on its first tour this year, and Salmon says he “begged and begged” Le Creuset to bring the truckette "back to its home state in time for Celebrate South Orange, our biggest downtown event of the year."

Salmon will be spotlighting the brand during the event, and a representative from Le Creuset will be there with the truckette.
