Leaf Season commences on October 21st and goes through December 4th. The Leaf Map is active and can be located on the website under Community Maps. Please comply with Township ordinances by raking leaves out only when the zone you live in is highlighted in green to avoid any violations. At this time of year leaves can be raked out or placed in brown biodegradable bags along the curb. The DPW will not collect leaves in plastic bags or any other materials during this season. Leaf collections are estimated to take place every eleven days but can vary dependent on rake-out volume. Residents are responsible to have their landscapers comply with Township ordinances.
For County Roadways please contact Essex County for their leaf pickup schedule at (973) 239-3366.
