Livingston Symphony Orchestra Maestro Anthony LaGruth’s inaugural season with the orchestra concludes with an audience-pleasing mix of works by classical music giants. Featuring Young Artist Concerto Competition winner Victoria Chung’s masterful, musical performance of Mozart’s Oboe Concerto in C, the orchestra’s season finale includes Wagner’s exciting Prelude to Act 3 of Lohengrin, Liszt’s most popular tone poem, Les Preludes, and Tchaikovsky’s fatefully melodic Fourth Symphony. Saturday evening, May 14, 7:30pm, Mt Pleasant Junior High School, 11 Broadlawn Drive, Livingston NJ. Tickets free for under 12 or high school students with id; $15 (seniors); $25 (adults) are available at the door or by calling (973)980-1809. www.lsonj.org.
