LWV and SOMSD Presidents' Council to Host Board of Education Candidates Night on October 13th

Whether you’re still deciding, have questions for the candidates, or just want to be a well-informed voter, the Candidates Night, sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the SOMSD Presidents’ Council, will help you gain a better understanding of the people running for the Board, and where they stand on issues that impact our students, teachers, schools, and community.

Please join us on Monday, October 13 at 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Board Administration Building, 525 Academy St. in Maplewood. The event’s format will provide an opportunity for attendees to submit their own questions for the candidates.

The forum will also be available through a live stream on SOMORE (South Orange Maplewood Online Radio Experience): http://somore.org, and it will be rebroadcast on SOMAtv, channels 19 (Cablevision) and 44 (FiO).
