Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting of a 19-year-old Maplewood man in early February.
Police located and arrested Isaiah “Zay” Jackson at a relative’s home in South Orange on Feb. 23, the Union Police Department stated in a news release.
The shooting took place in the area of Walker and William streets around 9:30 p.m., where officers found the Maplewood man bleeding from a gunshot wound, TAP Into SOMA reported.

Emergency responders transported the victim to University Hospital in Newark where he was listed in stable condition.
