Man Assaulted On Sloan Street In South Orange: Police

A 20-year-old man was allegedly assaulted and struck in the face as he was walking on Sloan Street in South Orange, police said.

South Orange, NJ – A 20-year-old man was allegedly assaulted and struck in the face as he was walking on Sloan Street in South Orange around 9:45 p.m. on Jan. 2, police stated.

According to the South Orange Police Department, the victim reported that three male actors wearing dark clothes and ski masks approached him in the area of Third Street.

The victim told police that one of the men asked to use his cell phone, and when he refused, the suspect struck him in the face and fled the scene on foot with the two other men.
