Man Fights Off Assailants In South Orange: Police
The man was walking home on Fairview Avenue in South Orange when three alleged robbers approached him, police say.

South Orange, NJ – A local man fought off three alleged robbers in South Orange last week, police said.
According to the South Orange Police Department, the incident took place around 9:55 p.m. as the man was walking south on Fairview Avenue from South Orange Avenue.
The victim told police that three men approached him and told him to hand over his belongings, at which time he began to struggle and managed to fight them off.

The man’s alleged assailants then fled on foot, he reportedly told police.
No property was stolen during the incident, but the victim suffered minor injuries, police stated.
