Memorial Day Weekend: Free Concert Series Kicks Off in South Orange

Looking for something to do this Memorial Day weekend in South Orange?

Starting on Friday night, the “Downtown After Sundown” evening concerts will return to the South Orange Village Center.

The free public concerts will feature a mix of musical styles, including acoustic, zydeco, jazz and flamenco.

Performances take place every Friday and Saturday evening from 7:30 to 10 p.m., starting May 22 and continuing to June 20.

Concerts take place in Spiotta Park (at the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Village Plaza) and on Sloan Street near the corner of South Orange Avenue.

According to a release, Downtown After Sundown is made possible by the Village of South Orange and is produced by the South Orange Village Center Alliance.
