More Than $10K In Art Stolen In South Orange

Police say the pieces were stolen from a Blanchard Road home.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A series of houseware sales led to the theft of more than $10,000 worth of art, according to the South Orange Police Department.

According to police, a Blanchard Road resident reported that sometime between Dec. 6 and Dec. 16 several pieces of art went missing from their home. The victim valued the pieces as worth more than $10,000 combined.

According to police, the resident said that during that ten day span the homeowner hosted several private housewares sales.

The Detective Bureau is currently investigating the incident, police said.
