South Orange ‘Traffic Ticket’ Prank Leaves Targets With Smiles [VIDEO]
What could possibly be funny about arriving at your car to find a parking ticket?

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — When several Essex County commuters arrived at their cars to find a meter maid writing them a ticket, they didn’t expect to leave the encounter with a smile on their faces. But sometimes life surprises you with its unpredictability.
The Today Show’s Hoda Kotb recently filmed a good-spirited prank in South Orange, dressing up as a parking meter enforcement worker and hitting the town’s streets to distribute fake parking summonses.
The prank’s payoff came when the “victims” learned that the summonses were really tickets to hot events like football games and Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande concerts, the show reported.
