Neelam Temporarily Shuttered by Health Dept.
The Indian restaurant received an "unsatisfactory" mark during a recent inspection for various health code violations.

Neelam Exotic Indian Restaurant received an "Unsatisfactory" mark during a Health Department inspection conducted on Friday.
Violations of the New Jersey Food Code were recorded in the following areas:
- Cooked chicken breasts found out of temperature on a shelf.
- Poor sanitary procedures.
- Improper and inadequate food handling, food preparation, and temperature control.
- Failure to have a certified food manager on site.
Summonses will be issued by the Health Department. The restaurant will be closed until further notice.
