New Medical School Plans Move Ahead In Nutley: Seton Hall, Hackensack UHN Involved
WATCH: Seton Hall and Hackensack UHN discuss what a new medical school would bring to the former Roche site in Nutley and Clifton.

A new, four-year school of medicine at the former Hoffman-La Roche site on the border of Nutley and Clifton took one step closer to completion on Friday.
During their public meeting, the Nutley Board of Commissioners introduced an ordinance to adopt the first phase of a redevelopment plan for the property, which has been vacant since Hoffman-La Roche relocated in 2013.
“This is a historic moment for Nutley,” Township Attorney Alan Genitempo said at the meeting.
