New Village Clerk to Take Reins July 1
Robin Kline is taking over for retiring Clerk Lynn Cucciniello.
The Board of Trustees passed a resolution on Monday approving the appointment of a new Village Clerk, Robin Kline, to take over for Lynn Cucciniello, who is retiring.
Kline will take over the position in an acting capacity on July 1 before the appointment takes effect on Aug. 1. The starting salary is $70,680, which would be bumped up to $76,000 if the Board of Health votes to appoint her the Registrar of Vital Statistics, as per the Board of Trustees's recommendation.

Robin Kline is a Registered Municipal Clerk, a Certified Municipal Registrar, and a Notary Public.
She brings to South Orange 20 years of work experience, including 11 years as a paralegal for law firms and a corporate legal department. She's worked for New Jersey municipalities for the past nine years, including for the Business Administrator and Mayor of Rockaway Township, as the Municipal Clerk and Registrar for Stanhope Borough, and currently as the Municipal Clerk and Registrar for the Township of Vernon.
Ms. Kline is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, the Municipal Clerk's Association of New Jersey, the Sussex County Municipal Clerk's Association, and the Registrars' Association of New Jersey.
She has Masters of Public Administrative Science, with an emphasis in Community Development, from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey. In addition, she's served on Morris County's Certified Emergency Response Team, as a Commissioner on the Morris County Board of Elections, and on her town's Zoning Board of Adjustment, Land Use Advisory Committee, and Shade Tree Commission.
