New Water Pumping Station Coming To South Orange Near Maplewood Border: Report

New Jersey American Water has announced plans to build a new pumping station in South Orange near the Maplewood border.

The new pumping station will be located 50 yards and across the driveway from the former Jersey Animal Coalition shelter, and has been approved by the South Orange Board of Trustees, Essex County Place reported.

Construction is expected to begin in March, the NJAW spokesman stated.
