Loud screeching sound and then train just stopped outside Union Station on Raritan Line

Train screeched to a loud grinding halt early this morning. So much louder than normal

Wake to emergency service personnel all over. Looks like Raritan line is out of service for a while as this is right before entering union station and next stop is Newark Penn.
