ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Jewish Family Service of MetroWest New Jersey recently brought food and camaraderie to more than 100 Holocaust survivors and seniors as part of a Passover outreach event.

Volunteers delivered holiday meals and care packages on March 31 throughout Essex, Morris and Union counties. Each meal included brisket, health salad, a vegetable side dish, and macaroons. The accompanying care packages contained Passover essentials and other holiday items.

Funding for the Passover meals was provided by the Jewish Communal Fund, with the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ supplying the care packages.
