NJ.com: SHU's Lawrence Charged with Assault-by-Auto

Bail was set at $25,000.

Seton Hall guard Keon Lawrence, 22, has been charged with assault-by-auto and driving with a suspended license in the Nov. 9 Garden State Parkway crash near Sayreville that injured a 56-year-old man. He had been driving on the wrong side of the highway.

Lawrence turned himself into New Jersey State Police, and bail was set at $25,000. He was suspended during the beginning of the basketball season but was allowed to return to the team for the Dec. 19 game against Temple.

Assault-by-auto is a third-degree crime and encompasses driving while under the influence of alcohol.
