Nonprofit Financial Management Workshop
Scholarship Opportunities Available to Those who Qualify
The Nonprofit Sector Resource Institute (NSRI) at Seton Hall University (SHU) will be offering five nonprofit scholarships for those interested in attending the Nonprofit Financial Management Workshop, which includes a professional certificate upon completion, beginning on April 15, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at SHU.
Today, sustainability of a nonprofit organization relies heavily on proper delegation of the budget and an overall understanding of financial management. NSRI prides itself with helping individuals, corporations, and nonprofits, to gain experience that enables them to provide better services to those they work to serve. Therefore, this workshop will be accessible to community members who qualify for available scholarships. Each scholarship is valued at $699.
The Nonprofit Financial Management Workshop will emphasize how nonprofit organizations can maximize limited resources. In just four sessions, a total of 18 hours, attendees will gain invaluable insight on financial and operational functions and receive a professional certificate, issued by the SHU- NSRI, upon completion. The course takes place at the SHU Faculty Library located on the 6th floor of Jubilee Hall on Wednesdays, April 15, 22, 29 and May 6, 2015 at 8:00 am - 12:30 pm. Breakfast and refreshments will be served.
