I know I have strong defenses because I have a family that cares about me.

My family gives me strength and confidence. I can enjoy feeling surrounded by loving support because I make my family a priority in my life.

Strengthening my family ties also fortifies my defenses so that I never have to feel vulnerable.

No family is perfect. Neither is mine, but I am grateful for who they are, faults and all! Each member of my family brings their own measure of love and support.

Just as I pay attention to my relationships with friends and co-workers, I encourage positive relationships with my family members as well. I inject positive energy into my family and I work to keep it strong.

I love my family for who they are. I uplift them when they need me, just as they come to my aid when I need them. I accept the strength and support they offer me. I am a stronger person because of my family.
