On Sunday, October 25, 2015, the Social Action Committee and Miriam Sisterhood of Oheb Shalom will present a panel on gun violence prevention. Members of the panel include: Richard Martinez, whose son was killed in the shooting at University of California, Santa Barbara in May 2014; and Brett Sabo, an active volunteer with a non-partisan grassroots movement that mobilizes families to advocate for stronger gun laws. The third member of the panel is to be announced soon.
The program will begin at 9:30 am. Brunch will be served. There is no cost for this program, but we do ask for RSVPs at www.ohebshalom.org. Open to the community at large.
