Paper Plane Coffee Supports Junior League Montclair-Newark, Inc

Junior League Montclair-Newark, Inc (JLMN) is very happy to be the recipient of a generous donation from Montclair’s Paper Plane Coffee Co. As we all know it takes a community to support and advocate for the young people within our communities and especially those that have aged out of foster care. Every year more than 20,000 young adults exit the foster care system alone because they never got reunited with family and didn’t get adopted. Struggling on their own, many fall into homelessness, drop out of college, and have an increased risk for other negative outcomes such as human trafficking and substance abuse. The support of our local small businesses like Montclair’s Paper Plane Coffee Co. is very important to JLMN and it helps us continue our mission of helping those in need. Inspired by five generations of Coffee and the American Grind. Approximately 150 years ago, high up in the Colombian Mountains, just below the Paper Plains, our story began. Paper Plane Coffee Co. was started in 2015. We are proud to bring you our family legacy in the form of freshly roasted coffee. The name Paper Plane is a play on words, coined from our secondary farm higher in the plains of the mountain where eucalyptus is grown for the national paper company. Thus, making them the Paper Plains.
