Pedestrian Hit by Car on South Orange Avenue
Victim taken to University Hospital with head trauma

A pedestrian was struck and injured by a car as he tried to cross South Orange Avenue near Grove Road Wednesday night.
South Orange Rescue Squad Captain Kurt Gibson said the victim received a head injury and was taken to University Hospital in Newark. The mirror of the vehicle apparently struck the pedestrian, knocking him to the ground, where he hit his head, Gibson said.
