Photo of the Day: Protesters Plaster Posters at BOE

With district saying it's time to 'move on,' students paper offices to show they 'won't give up.'

Did the school superintendent see the signs of protest with his morning coffee?

That was the hope of some students who say they papered the Board of Education offices on Memorial Day with posters demanding tenure for two social studies teachers at South Orange Middle School.

“We want to show the members that we haven’t and won’t give up,” said one of the student leaders in a message to Patch.
