Pierro Gallery Will Highlight Career Of South Orange Artist Next Month

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Pierro Gallery in South Orange will celebrate the remarkable career of artist Judy Targan with Judy Targan: A Life in Art, an exhibition highlighting eight decades of artistic creativity and a lifetime of curiosity.

An opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pierro Gallery, 5 Mead St., South Orange.

At 95, Targan continues to create, bringing decades of artistic experience and exploration to the exhibition. The gallery describes the show as a celebration of “eight decades of art” and “ninety-five years of curiosity.”

The exhibition offers the South Orange community an opportunity to experience the work of an artist whose creative practice has continued across generations.
