Pizza Deliveryman Robbed at Gunpoint on Varsity Rd.

The two suspects fled on foot into Newark.

A 19-year-old pizza deliveryman from the South Orange Domino's who was dropping off three pizzas at a Varsity Road address was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday at approximately 6:21 p.m.

According to Police Chief James Chelel, the victim pulled up to the house and was approached by two black males who appeared to be between the ages of 20 and 22. One reached into his waistband, produced a small silver handgun, and ordered the victim to hand over his money and the food. The suspects then fled on foot over the Newark border.

According to the description, the suspects are around 5'6", 150 pounds, and were wearing black knit caps.
