Police Blotter: Attempted Auto Theft
The ignition was removed from a car parked on Montrose Street, but nothing else was reported missing.
Thursday, Feb. 18:
- A 2003 Dodge Neon parked on Montrose Street was broken into overnight, and the ignition was removed.
Friday, Feb. 19:
- A 2009 Honda Civic parked at Mountain Station was broken into via a smashed driver-side window, and a GPS unit and its power cord and an iPod power cord were taken.

- The owner of a 1998 Mercury Tracer that was towed from the lot behind South Orange Middle School on Jan. 19 reported that a GPS unit was removed from her car while it was parked in the towing company's lot on Lackawanna Place.
