Police Blotter: Bike Thefts at Train Station
A car was also stolen off the street on Forest Road last week.

Tuesday, Sept. 15:
- A gold 2006 Chrysler Pacifica was stolen from the front of a Forest Road residence between 8:20 and 9:20 p.m. The owner reported that the sun roof may have been open.
Wednesday, Sept. 16:
- A gold Diamondback bicycle was reported stolen from the bike rack at the South Orange train station. When the owner returned shortly before 7 p.m., he found that the chain had been cut and the bike was gone.

- A 2006 Toyota Camry parked in a Page Terrace driveway was burglarized overnight. A GPS system, GPS charger cord, Verizon Wireless charger cord and a bag of change were taken.
- A 2006 Subaru Tribeca parked in a Great Hills Drive driveway was burglarized overnight. A cloth bag containing assorted paperwork was taken, but the majority of the contents, including a checkbook, were found dropped in the driveway. The responding officer found the bag on Glenview Avenue, and only a few papers that contained no personal information were still missing.
- A gray Schwinn mountain bike was reported stolen from the bike rack at South Orange train station. The owner returned at about 5:45 p.m. and found that it was gone.
