Police Blotter: Dents and Damages

Cars damaged in various ways and an attempted bank entry

On April 27, an unknown person broke the front right headlight and both tail lights of a vehicle parked on Church Street. The car's owner reported that this was the ninth time that the car has been damaged.

On the same date, persons unknown threw rocks from the main train station platform onto cars below. One car's rear window was broken, and the car dented. Another car was scratched on the fender by the same actions.

On April 28, an employee of Bank of America reported that unknown persons smashed the front door to the bank. However, the person or persons didn't enter the bank. The employee has requested security film from the ATM.

On April 30, the engine of a car parked at Valley and 3rd Street caught fire. The South Orange Fire Department responded to the scene.

On May 3, a Montrose Avenue resident reported that someone entered and rummaged around in her car. Nothing was reported missing.
