Police Blotter: Laptop Stolen from Car in Driveway
The blotter is light this week—apart from the Saturday shooting reported on yesterday which police are investigating.
Saturday, Aug. 15:
- A woman left her cell phone on the counter of Pizza Hut, where it was stolen by a person who made multiple phone calls.
Tuesday, Aug. 18:
- An air conditioner was forcibly removed from the window of a dentist's office overnight on Monday.

- Someone attempted to break into a 2002 Subaru Impreza parked in the municipal lot between First and Second streets via the passenger door, which sustained damage to the lock and handle area.
Saturday, Aug. 22:
- A car parked in a Village Green Court driveway was broken into via a smashed passenger window overnight on Friday. A VAIO laptop and its case were reported missing.
