Police Blotter: Milton Place Burglary
Locked cars are broken into in the SOPAC lot, but nothing is taken.
Wednesday, Jan. 6:
- A Milton Place home was burglarized during the day. The burglar gained entry by pushing in an air conditioner that was mounted in a window.
Saturday, Jan. 9:
- A green 2004 Lexus, a silver 2004 Lexus and a gray 2009 Infinity parked in the NJ Transit lot next to SOPAC were rummaged through, but nothing was reported missing. The driver-side doors and door locks of the vehicles were damaged.
- A home on Charlton Avenue was egged some time between 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

- Damage was done to the door locks of a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan parked in a Coudert Place driveway, but nothing was reported missing.
Monday, Jan. 11:
- The manager of Rite Aid observed a man putting merchandise into a shopping bag at about 5:30 p.m. He then took the bag and asked the man whether he had a receipt, causing hi t fled the store and turned west on South Orange Avenue.

- Police responded to a Vose Avenue home at about 3:30 a.m. on a report of an activated car alarm. There was damage to the rear driver-side door window of a 2006 Lexus GX, but entry wasn't gained.
