Police Blotter: Stolen Tires, Rims

Wednesday, June 9:

• Someone attempted to break into Town Hall Deli overnight on Tuesday. There was damage to a side door handle and pry marks on the door jamb, but entry wasn't gained.

Friday, June 11:

• The tires and rims were stolen from a 1997 Honda Accord parked in a South Orange Avenue driveway overnight on Thursday.
• A 2003 Toyota Solara parked on Grove Road was broken into overnight, and a $20 bill and $5 in loose change were reported stolen. A 2009 Honda CR-Z was also broken into on Grove Road, and a change purse with $5 in change was taken. No physical force was used in either case.
• Someone slashed the front and rear driver-side tires of a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe parked in front of South Orange Middle School some time in the afternoon.
• A mountain bike parked at the South Orange train station bike rack was reported stolen between 4:30 and 11:30 p.m.
