Police Blotter: Thefts, Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the South Orange Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • The Administrator from the Montrose school stated that sometime between October 28 and November 2, an unknown person(s) had entered a classroom and removed two iPad computers. The Administrator stated that several individuals were using the school for a film project during said times.

  • Frank Gonzales, a 36 year old homeless individual, was arrested on November 3 at approximately 4 p.m. for theft by deception, after an investigation revealed that he had fraudulently used another's debit card.  During the arrest, the subject was found to be in possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and a syringe.  The subject was arrested by detectives on Sloan Street without incident and processed accordingly.

  • A North Wyoming resident stated that sometime between October 31 and November 3, an unknown person(s) entered her vehicle (2011 Honda) and removed forty dollars in cash and coins from the center console.  There were no signs of damage to the vehicle.
