Police Reports: Rash of Car Break-ins and a Car Theft at Seton Hall
In the course of a week, there were three break-ins to vehicles parked at Seton Hall and the report of a stolen car.

Wednesday, April 1:
- The theft of a red 1992 Jeep Cherokee from Lot 5—the municipal lot with an entrance on South Orange Avenue, opposite Rite Aid—was reported. The owner's son had parked the car in the lot on Saturday, checked it on Sunday, and noticed it missing on Wednesday.
- A silver 2001 BMW 325 parked on Coudert Place was broken into on Wednesday evening. The contents of the glove compartment were thrown onto the passenger-side floor and seat, but nothing was reported stolen. The officer investigating discovered another car with door-lock damage on Tichenor Avenue, but the perpetrator hadn't gained entry.
- A silver 2003 Infinity G35 parked in the Seton Hall garage was broken into Wednesday night, and an iPod touch, two Bluetooth earpieces and change from the glove compartment were taken, as well as $220 from the victim's wallet. Due to damage to the car, neither door lock would operate.
- A silver 2005 Infinity Fx3 parked in the Seton Hall garage was broken into Wednesday night and ransacked, but only $2 in loose change was reported stolen.
Thursday, April 2:
- The skate house at the Duck Pond was broken into via a smashed window on the south side of the building. The break-in was reported at 9:15 a.m., and the Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs was notified. Nothing was reported stolen.
- A car parked by Xavier Hall at Seton Hall was broken into some time between last Tuesday evening and Thursday afternoon. The driver, a Seton Hall student, reported the break-in at 1:32 p.m., and the vehicle registration, insurance card, owner's manual and an opener to a garage door were missing.

Sunday, April 5:
