Sharp-eyed South Orange Officers Make Warrant Arrest
Christopher Cook was picked up after police recognized him on the street.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A 39-year-old Newark resident was arrested Thursday after detectives recognized him as having an outstanding arrest warrant, South Orange Police said.
Detectives, familiar with the subject and aware of the active warrant, observed Christopher Cook walking on Irvington Avenue near Tichenor Avenue where they stopped and arrested him without incident, police said.
According to police, officers transported Cook to headquarters to be processed and once at headquarters, Cook gave a statement in regards to his involvement in a burglary to auto on Stanley Road and fraudulent credit card use that occurred the day before.

Detectives charged Cook accordingly, police said.
