Shoplifter Caught In South Orange: Police
Yolanda Shubrick was arrested after police witnessed items falling from her jacket, authorities said.
SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A 47-year-old East Orange woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting on March 26, according to the South Orange Police Department.
According to authorities, at approximately 6 p.m. South Orange detectives observed a woman exiting the Rite Aid on South Orange Avenue with a full Amazon bag. She then headed walk west on South Orange Avenue and at the same time South Orange Dispatch received a call from Rite Aid that a woman had just stole items from that store, police said.
While detectives were approaching the suspect, later identified as Yolanda Shubrick, they noticed candy falling from Shubrick's jacket to the ground, police said.

Shubrick was placed under arrest for shoplifting and was found to be concealing razors and hair products in her jacket and Amazon bag, police said.
