South Orange 7-Eleven Robbed: Police

A gun-wielding man allegedly robbed the Valley Street store and made his escape, police say.

South Orange, NJ – An employee at the 7-Eleven on Valley Street reported that a gun-wielding man robbed the store on Saturday, authorities said.

According to the South Orange Police Department, the alleged armed robbery took place around 6:20 a.m., when a male wearing a ski mask and dark clothing entered the store.

The suspect allegedly brandished a dark-colored revolver at the clerk and demanded money from the register, which the clerk handed over, police said.

The suspect then fled the store, police stated.

Nobody except the clerk was in the store at the time, authorities said.
