South Orange Back-To-School Party Makes The Grade
Families can celebrate the new school year with food, fashion and live music in downtown South Orange.
SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Families can ease into the new school year with food, fashion and live music downtown Friday.
The Back-to-School Party will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Backyard, 58 Vose Ave., according to South Orange Downtown.
Cute as New will start a fashion show at 5:15 p.m., with models showing off favorite looks. Edison Mines will provide live music afterward.

Visitors can also pick up sweet treats from SOMA Sweets and food from Giorgio’s, with The Charmery, Totally Unplugged and other local businesses joining the celebration.
Organizers invite families to “bring the family, meet up with friends, support local businesses and celebrate back to school together downtown.”
