South Orange College Student Earns Fulbright Fellowship
Adela Perez-Franco a senior diplomacy major, will travel to Madrid, Spain for a year to teach English to high school students.

South Orange, NJ – A Seton Hall University student has earned a prestigious Fulbright Fellowship, school officials announced Monday.
According to a Seton Hall website post, Adela Perez-Franco a senior diplomacy major, will travel to Madrid, Spain for a year to teach English to high school students and prepare them for a Model United Nations conference.
While in Spain, Franco reportedly plans to volunteer with Mujeres Unidas Contra el Maltrato, an organization dedicated to meeting the needs of women who are victims of abuse.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide.
The program currently awards approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide.
