South Orange Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint: Police

The suspect approached the driver brandishing a long-barreled, black handgun, South Orange police say.

South Orange, NJ – A South Orange area delivery driver reported that he was robbed at gunpoint as he was making a delivery to a Tichenor Avenue home around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the South Orange Police Department, the worker told police that as he was making a delivery, a man in his 30s wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt approached him wielding a long-barreled, black handgun, took about $45 in cash and fled the area on foot.

Detectives are conducting an investigation, police said.
