In South Orange: Teens Allegedly Rob Woman Of Her Pocketbook On Prospect Street
The East Orange teens allegedly knocked a woman to the ground and took her pocketbook, police say.

South Orange police arrested two juvenile girls for allegedly robbing a woman of her purse and knocking her to the ground on Thursday night.
According to police, a woman stated that as she was walking on Prospect Street around 9 p.m., two female juveniles approached her and knocked her to the ground, taking her pocketbook and fleeing the scene.
A South Orange police officer apprehended two females in connection with the alleged incident a short distance away.

Police recovered the victim’s pocketbook near the scene, but some items – including the victim’s phone – were not located.
After being processed, police remanded the juveniles – both East Orange residents - to the Essex County Youth House in Newark.
