South Orange Health Fair 2017 Will Offer Free Health Screenings
No cost health screenings will include eye screening, hearing screening, Himalayan bowls, blood donations, and other assessments.
From South Orange Health Dept.: Take advantage of a free opportunity to reduce your risk of some health problems. The South Orange Health Department will hold its 11th Annual Free Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 9 th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Orange Fire House, located at 56 Sloan Street.
No-cost health screenings and informational tables will include: Eye screening, hearing screening, Himalayan bowls (relaxation, pain& relief, and stress reduction), blood donations, Fire Department & smoke alarms, spinal screening, face painting for children, balloons for children, osteoporosis screening, stroke risk assessment includes (blood pressure, glucose, total cholesterol, HDL , triglycerides, and LDL screening (capillary), respiratory screening, hepatitis B screening (venous blood test & follow-up), child identification kit (dental x-ray, photograph, finger print, and write-up), lead screening for children (capillary), pediatric dental screening, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and facial skin screening,If you have any questions you can contact the Health Department at 973- 378-7715 ext. 7710.
