South Orange: Local Al Fresco Dining Reaches Record Level

There are now 14 restaurants and eateries offering outside dining options.

If you’re a lover of “al fresco” dining – or eating outdoors for the layperson – things have never been better in South Orange.

According to the township, there are now 14 eateries offering al fresco dining in South Orange Village Center… a record number.

“We’re thrilled that along with the warm weather, even more of our merchants are taking advantage of the easier, cost-free process for permitted al fresco dining,” stated Bob Zuckerman, the Executive Director of the South Orange Village Center Alliance.

The following establishments are offering al fresco dining in South Orange: Above Restaurant and Bar, Ariyoshi Japanese Restaurant, Boccone South, Bunny’s Sports Bar, Cait & Abby’s Daily Bread, Cold Stone Creamery, The Dancing Blender, Falafel-ly Yours Giorgio’s, Grid Iron Wafflerie, Mara’s Café & Bakery (opening in late May), Tito’s Burritos & Wings, Toro Loco, Town Hall Deli, Village Diner, Stony’s.
