SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — One of the most mud-splattered U.S. presidential elections in recent history officially left its mark in South Orange for 2016 when voters weighed in Tuesday. But whose candidates emerged victorious?

- Johanna L. Wright - 9,034 votes (23.33 %)
- Susie S. Adamson - 8,187 votes (21.14 %)
- Stephanie M. Lawson-Muhammad - 9,328 votes (24.09 %)
- James Henry Davis, III - 5,108 votes (13.19 %)
- Anthony Mazzocchi - 6,972 votes (18 %)

Several reported issues and delays were seen across New Jersey on Tuesday, including polling place lines that stretched blocks, a sign that appeared to tell voters that they needed ID to cast a ballot and malfunctioning voting machines.
