South Orange Middle School Hosts Back-to-School Events
The school is ready and so are the students.
The sponsored a “” in the courtyard. Attended by SOMS families, especially those with incoming sixth graders, the BBQ provided an opportunity for parents and students to meet Principal Joe Uglialoro as well as other members of the SOMS staff who were on hand.
Before and after the BBQ, sixth grade students were given the opportunity to attend a transition program that included a welcome from the school administration, a review of school policies, and tours of the building.
The school year starts on September 6 for SOMS sixth and seventh graders (and on September 7 for eighth graders).
