South Orange Police Blotter: Stolen Cadillac Wheels

The following arrest information was supplied by the South Orange police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • A Seton Hall University student reported that sometime between midnight and 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 6, someone had removed a designer wallet from his Boland Hall dorm room.  The victim stated that several people had access to his room. The wallet was later found on campus and returned to the security office.

  • Edgar Etienne, a 24 year old Bloomfield resident, was arrested on Feb. 8, at approximately 10:30 p.m., after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on South Orange Ave.  When officers pulled him over, they realized that Etienne had an outstanding warrant issued for his arrest out of Glen Ridge.

  • A Cottage St. resident said that sometime during the overnight hours of Feb 8., someone removed both left side tires and rims from his 2011 Cadillac.  The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the victim's residence at the time of the incident.

  • A Centre St. resident said that sometime between 8 a.m. and 8:10 p.m. on Feb. 9, some entered his home by breaking a rear basement window.  The person was unable to gain entry into the living quarters of the residence due to a deadbolt lock on the basement door.
