South Orange Police Blotter: Underage Drinking Arrests

The following arrest information was provide by the South Orange Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Leahy William, a 20 year old Massapequa, NY resident, and Alex Wenke, a 19 year old Tuckahoe, NY resident, were arrested on Jan. 19 at 8:04 p.m. for underage possession of alcoholic beverages.  Officers observed the two walk out of A & D Deli, carrying a case of beer and two bottles of liquor.  

  • Samuel Boudreau, a 20 year old Lee, MA resident, and Brian Fucci, a 20 year old Bronx, NY resident, were arrested on Jan., 19 at approximately 10 p.m. for underage possession of alcoholic beverages.   An SOPD officer observed the two carrying several 30 packs of beer on First Street.

  • Michelle Waters, a 53 year old Roselle resident, was arrested on Jan. 19 at approximately 11:30 p.m. for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle, a 2010 Dodge, was reported stolen out of Newark on Jan. 17.  While on patrol, an SOPD officer was alerted to the stolen auto by his vehicle's license plate reader.  SOPD officers arrested Waters  as she was pulling into the Rite Aid parking lot.  During the search of the vehicle, officers marijuana and rolling papers.

  • A Rutherford resident stated that on Jan. 22, at approximately 12:30 a.m., he had parked his 2000 Mercedes in front of 25 Valley St and when he returned to it a short time later, he discovered it had been stolen.

  • A South Ridgewood Road resident said that sometime between Jan. 18 and Jan. 21, someone broke into his detached garage by forcing open a side door.   No items were reported stolen.

  • A South Centre Street resident stated that sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Jan.21 and 9:20 p.m. on Jan. 22, someone removed a fifteen inch black Bulldog statue from the front of her property.

  • Justin Geringer, a 19 year old Marlboro resident, was arrested at Seton Hall University on Jan. 20, at approximately 11 p.m., after he was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia while in a campus parking lot.
