South Orange Resident Loses Safe, Valuables During Burglary: Cops
A South Orange resident reported that he lost a safe containing several valuable items during a home burglary, authorities said.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — A South Orange resident reported that he lost a safe containing several valuable items during a home burglary last week, authorities said.
According to the South Orange Police Department, an Arnold Terrace resident told officers that sometime between 10 p.m. on Friday, March 16, and midnight on March 17, an unknown person entered his home and stole a metal safe.
The safe allegedly contained cash, jewelry, various ID papers and “numerous” credit cards, police said.

South Orange police said that it appeared that entry was gained through a “pushed-in first floor window.” The Detective Bureau is investigating the incident, authorities said.
