South Orange Theater: Play Tackles 'Battle of the Sexes'

"Miss Julie" comes to Baird Theatre on April 10 to 12.

Theater company interACT’s “Miss Julie” comes to South Orange from April 10 to 12, at the Baird Theatre on Three, 5 Mead St.

According to a release, the play centers on dominance, control, and the battle of the sexes.

Cynthia Ross directs the August Strindberg-written piece, with a new translation by Truda Stockenstram.

The program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council of the Arts.

Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10; 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11; and 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 12.
