South Orange Town Hall Will Address Retail Mix, Liquor Licenses

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Do you want to help shape the future of the retail mix in South Orange? Clear your evening on Monday, July 31.
On July 31, the South Orange Village Center Alliance, South Orange Village and Seton Village South Orange will host a town hall forum to discuss the future of retail in the area as well as liquor license reform.
“We're looking to amend our municipal code to allow for more and different uses given the changing nature of the retail economy,” the groups stated on Facebook. “We'll also be discussing proposed state legislation that would reform our current liquor license laws.”

The public town hall will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the South Orange Performing Arts Center loft (3rd floor).
